Most people find the business world fascinating, and accounting is the stuff that the business world is made of. If you’ve ever had a dream to start your own business (and many people have), then you’ll definitely find accounting interesting and useful. Even if you have no desire to start your own business, accounting is useful for anyone who plans on being in the business world. I’ve never talked with an accounting major who wished he had studied something else; however, I have talked with quite a few business people who wished they had majored in accounting (or at least known more accounting).”
